Experience at James Watt College so far...
My time at James Watt College has been an enjoyable experience so far with learning new skills and meeting new people. The class this year are really good and everyone gets on which is important as it creates a good and happy environement to work in. The lectures are really good and have taught us a alot in the short space of time we have been there and we are updating the basic skills we all ready have on Make-up. At the start of the course I wasn't really confident about meeting new people but with having a good class it has made it so much easier. I'm looking forward to the coming months in college.
Curriculum for Excellence in our classes...
The four capacities of the Cirriculum for Excellence affects all parts of my course in college. Being a repsonsible citizen- not damaging anyone or the colleges property, taking repsonsibilty for our actions and consequences, carrying out any practical work safely and hygienically, respecting other people, clean up our work stations after any tasks, looking out for other people and helping when you can. In the last couple of months since starting the course I have become more confident as a person, learned how not to be so shy around people and voice my opinion about subjects. A successful learner is learning new skills and developing your existing ones that you have already learned, completing any work given on time, carrying out each task to the best of your ability and giving it a 100%. Being a effective contributor to the world- doing voluntary work and giving something back to the community, doing your share of the work if you are in a team, voicing your ideas and opinions, help anyone who needs pointed in the right direction.
